Team True Fire Official Website

The Fab Lab Rocketry Club, Team True Fire, is a student-run organization representing 8 local schools who team up to design, construct, test, and launch a rocket throughout the school year and summer. Led by current Riverview High School student, Daniel Desear, the club aims to launch its rocket to at least 15,000ft by the summer of 2024. Students actively engage in the fields of physics, aerospace engineering, computer programming, chemistry, and marketing.

Students are guided through the rocket building process with professional mentors. Our main mentor, Russell Finger, is a Fab Lab board member and physics and chemistry teacher at Suncoast Polytechnical High School. Students in this club spend their time creating and testing rocket fuel, programming various electronics, and learn how to promote the club for potential sponsors.
